do you know how the term "redneck" came about, the union coalminers in the eary 20th century wore red bandannas to set themselves apart from the coal mine owners and the employees loyal to them. there were some pretty nasty gun battles. the first use of the word came about in the 19th century to refer to low class farmers but the word never really caught on until the miners started using it. I'M PROUD TO BE A REDNECK!
