Time will tell but NOTHING is EVER CERTAIN in the NFL.

How do the Bears factor in to the division race without a solid NFL starter??

How will the Packers fare without Brett Favre??

Does Jackson have the talent and fortitude to play consistently well from start to finish?

But solid teams have running games that make up for that and with AP/Taylor you have one of the best RB combos in the league.
Agreed.

Rodgers injuries probably aren't the most accurate reports. When you play behind Favre for that long, you aren't likely to get much playing time.

And, yes, Rodgers > ANY Bears starting QB. The sad part is, all of the Rodgers > Grossman/Orton comparisons are based on Rodgers' potential versus Grossman's/Orton's factual inadequacies.

I know that this has been said before but the Lions could be ready this year. Last year they were the quietest 6-2 team that I can remember. They did end the season 1-7 but maybe they are ready to take the next step this season and be consistent from beginning to end.

Time will tell.

If he doesnt our offense will sink cause with our riff raff passing attack we wont be making any noise.
I think that the Bears will see tons of loaded fronts until Grossman/Orton demonstrate they can play at the level of a solid NFL starting QB. The tough part will be the lack of receivers that can stretch the field. With only TEs and no WRs, the field is gonna be very short. That will make things even more difficult on the Bears.

One thing is certain, unless there is marked improvement from the QB position, by the 10th or 11th game of this season that defense WILL BE fatigued!

Tough division to call but I think the Vikes have the edge, and I think the Lions will hold the rest of us.

The battle I cant quite work out is the Pack v Bears - either of them could finish 9 - 7 and sneak a wild card spot.

The Packers will be hampered by Rodgers at QB, as in effect he is a rookie starter, though Grossman and Orton have their doubters they have both at least started and won games in the NFL.

I'd go
Vikes - 10 -6
Bears 9 - 7
Pack 7 - 9
Lions 6 - 10

So while he looks like he is failing miserably right now, give the man credit for doing as well as he is with the crap that he is being given.

Im sorry but they swept Griese not the team. The team did their best but Griese and his 5+ picks in those two games kicked our ass

He threw 3TDS, 7INTS and was sacked 8 times in those two games.

Those picks and sacks are partially Griese's fault but to lay no blame on the offensive line is foolish. Had the offensive line protected Griese better and been able to push back the Lion pass rush, maybe, just maybe, Griese could have avoided the INTs and certainly could have avoided a sack or two.
