My Concern

Is his attitude. Setting yesterday's incident aside, he could prove to be a distraction in the locker room. The media has been all over CB in recent weeks with negative press while Forte has been showered with positive attention. This is not a formula that promotes healthy competition between RB's.

yeah, I think you're right there. Cedric has or had (is in line to lose a step after having bone pinned) the potential to be an above average RB but I agree, don't hold your breath

Well, the showering of attention on Benson helped TJ, but then again, it just made TJ work harder, while Ced doesn't seem to care about competition. HOWEVER, he was pretty darn good as a backup when he saw competition, so here's to hoping we see some positive rage from him this year...erm...on the field I mean...not the kind that gets you pepper sprayed.

now TJ was a workhorse.......he was the definition of hard work. I honestly can't see Cedricgetting cut yet, lets just see how young Forte adapts to our system and see if it creates positive competition for him

Off the field, yes, he was a weight-room workhorse.

If I saw my future replacement in Forte I'd get drunk and go sailing too!

i think the problem is that the longer benson's hair gets the worse he plays. he shaved his head coming out of college to avoid the ricky williams comparisons but has been growing his dreads out for some time now only to look worse on the field. it's the Samson Effect, only backwards.

I guess we'll see if he shows up to camp with some resolve. I would think he has some pride and would want to prove his critics wrong.

Yeah, there has to be some pride factor with him. Everybody calls him a bum and everyone is talking about Forte, this is his time to prove everyone wrong...or at least try.
