Am I the only one here that feels Benson has already given up?...I think all of the recent attention given to Forte now has Benson acting out.

i think you are right Biz, kinda like with Slash Stewart. He kinda dropped off when we drafted Grossman, right after we signed him

I have been a great supporter of Benson from when he played college football at Texas, I have stuck up for him but he's starting to piss me off now. As far as I know in this country its not illegal to drink and sail, its offseason and players are human beings and can drink can't they? but this is where my Benson stand ends because to resist arrest and to make the situation worse is inexcuseable.

I am beginning to think we should cut our losses and consider a trade or something.........god Sean Alexander for Christs sake!!

It is illegal to drink and operate any motor vehicle in public. but, one thing that gets me is you waited this long to stop standing up for him. i stopped when he would not produce.

thats my perogative, too many fans winge and whine and don't give players a chance, he played well as a complementative back with Jones, granted he had a poor start to the season but he was starting to show form before his injury. Why not have a little support for a player you followed through college? I'm sure you have players you've followed and wished well because of their home town or college?

Interesting thought, his injuries are a concern. Personally, I think he's going to probably retire...not much gas left in his tank.

Ced will have plenty of time to recoop in the "big house"

When he gets out he could always play for the Cowpies or the Oakland Fadders>

Sure there are players I hope do well. Mostly the rookies we get, but some players are better at releif and suck as starters. I never saw Benson as a starter. more so when CB kept getting hurt.

Maybe that is where Rex will be.
