Call me crazy...but shouldnt member of the month go to Bears fans? I mean, im glad we have our rival fans part of the community (especially our awesome Phins fans), but they already have their own reward (Rival fan of the month), so they are eligible for 2 different awards (well 3 if you count Rookie), and Bears fans are only eligible for one award because theyre Bears fans?

lol maybe the problem is most rivals dont stick around like us phin fans have . That said I could really care less,I got the member of the month once and thats enough for me so take my name out of it,you wont hurt my feelings

my thought was that the Member of the Month award was for the member that contributes to the site in a positive way that creates interest, and conversation, and is deserving of recognition, regardless of team affiliation. Is it possible that the staff could look into separate awards for Member of the Month, and Bears Fan of the Month?
yeah, i dont mind there being rival fans nominated, just the fact that you guys get 2 awards, but i think a seperate "Bears Fan of the Month" award is a good idea, especially since there are so many Bears fans who deserve an award who havent got one yet
hell the more awards the merrier, how about dabearz prick of the month award? I'd give Dutch Oven the lifetime achievement award for that, but he has been MIA for awhile now

Seriously though, I think that some rival fans that have been here for a while should be considered for Member of the Month. I mean, I have been around here for how long?? I am a respected poster and I make positive contributions to the board albeit sporadically at times. Just because I am not a Bears fan doesn't mean to me that I cannot be a Member of the Month at dabearz.com
In any case, you know I am not lobbying because I am hardly EVER nominated for anything!
