My computer has bit the dust - DaBearz

Well last night im sitting at home and my power flickers on and off, then i go to turn my computer on and its not working. There was no power running through it. So i opened it up to see if the little light was on inside and nothing was there. I tried switching the computer to another serg protector and it wont work. Anyone got any ideas to get this thing working again??

and if its completely done, im ganna be getting a laptop so what should i look for in a laptop?

could be several things, but for my money it is your power supply. They can be replaced relatively easily, provided the computer isn't too old.

Not a big fan of laptops, but if you go that route, to me the most important features are a keyboard that is large enough for adult hands, decent monitor size & battery life.

i would love to get a laptop, but if i did i'd want internet access and my wife would have a fit when we went camping and i'd never come out of the trailer.

but of those things JD mentioned battery life and a decent keyboard is what i'd look for. ever sent a text message on an older cell phone? what a pain in the ass, you have to use a pen or pencil.
