We don't always track IP's. No real need to. We know people share IP's...
We look for members who share physical machines.....

that is what they track...
let me explain..
every computer has an IP.. its a unique identifier.. its like the computers soc sec number...
now lets say for instance you post at work.. and at home.. like me.
My account (Bearfanmike20) has at least 2 IP address' associated with it, and that is fine...
What the staff is looking for is and ip with 2 or more usernames associated with it.
Now.. you may ask.. why??.. what the big deal...
Well... we hold many contests and things of that nature on this site.. the more usernames you have.. the easier it would be to manipulate those contests in your favor...
Thats the best way to describe it...

Bottom line.. Log in as one guy.. thats it. it doesn't matter where you log in from... just make sure you have one name. |
