| | | Sox are doing a lot of damage with 2 outs I've noticed. That's huge. Ozzie's going o have to make some big decisions when Pauly gets back.

Anderson and Wise are better in the field but spotty a hitting. It's all really kinda of tough so Ozzie will probably just keep things rolling the way they are.

| | | May I interject as a Cub fan? Outside thoughts can usually lend a hand.
You guys are playing some great baseball, and are a much better team then anyone could have imagined. Swisher seems to be a great fit at 1B, at least much better then he was in CF. I say you have to keep him at 1B. His bat came alive after the swtich. Then it comes to what to do with Konerko and Thome. Since you are playing without Konerko right now, it proves you can play and win without him. Im not saying trade him, but it shows you dont need him everyy game. Same with Thome. He is possibly my favorite Sox player. Yes, I am a Cub fan, and I like some players on the White Sox. Thome however is slipping... my thought would be to platoon them at DH. Everyone else is doing too good of a job to bench them. And to be honest, you might not get al too much in a trade for either one, especially not at this stage in their careers. They make too much to flat out bench either of them as well. A straight platoon might be the best way to go, until something forces the hand where you have to move Swisher off 1B to fill in back in the outfield so Konerko can take over 1B again. But I dont think you can move Swisher off 1B unless you are forced to.

| | | they cant unload uribe fast enough, in my opinion.
i dont know what to do about konerko. was he really trying to play through injury? or is it just that he sucks in the first half of the year, like he has for the last 2 years?
i would prefer to keep swisher at first. wise's bat has really come through...if the pitching keeps up how they are, we may be able to sacrifice a little defense for more consistent hitters in the line up. and his base running rocks. | | The Following User Says Thank You to GSH-30 For This Useful Post: | |

| | | Fair-weather fans Every team has them, I saw first-hand a prime example of it down in South Florida with the Marlins back in 03'.
