Once the McKaskets move on we will have true ownership that cares about the team
then there is Cheapdorf. How many year does he have left? Whati s he in his 70s |
you know, whats funny is that reinsdorf has sited one of his reasons on why he would protest cuban being with the cubs. cuban spends money and would be HUGELY popular with cubdom. reinsdorf wants NO part of that. he feels that the sox would be buried in this city even more, p.r.-wise. and rightfully so. you afraid of cuban, then pony-up.
you know, whats a shame is that up until last september, our hometown teams have all been neutered with bad owners. all of them. chicago is a cream of the crop sports town...well, it should be. i mean, we have to endure one shot of hope for the bears but once every 20-25 YEARS! ('63,'85,'06)--that sucks.
the sox and bulls are one in the same. we've beaten that horse, so i wont get in-depth.
the cubs are WELL-documented. curse-nothing. checkout their lineups outside of the late-60's and '84-ish. telemaco over maddux? lousy development. thats all it is. that team has NEEEEEEEEEEEEVER been known as fundamentally sound in the last 4 decades (modern era).
man, chicago would be the funnest city for sports if these teams were run correctly. the people love the history of these franchises.
proud of the blackhawks, though. big-ups to what they've done lately.
