| | | I say pay him as a top tier return man as that is what he is right now, IMO he started this one season too early, should've proved what he could do day in and out as WR first and wait for the big payday.

| | | problem is, he wants to be paid like a number one reciever.
in his words, he is one of a kind and wants to be paid that way. He wants to be paid like a top WR, not a top return man because the Bears want him to be a number one or two WR.

| | | I'd like to change my vote to "others", with the option being to raise my own salary to 445K.
I'm tired of players telling their employers the equivalent of:
"Well, I'm not coming to work today unless I get a raise....you don't have to pay for me not being here, here's my agents phone number...see ya !"
What we should have done based on 07' offensive output, was to switch Hester's salary with Grossman's. Give Hester top ST money...nothing more. He's not the sharpest tool in the shed to begin with, which will further hinder his abilities to learn the position of WR. |

| | | If The Bears paid Devon based upon last years production, would he not be the highest paid Bear on the field? Give the kid some money and let's go. |

I'd do it for a few years and then no one would ever see me again outside of family and close friends.

That's sports. Is 2 years long enough for him and others to "pay their dues"????
